introduction. hi, i'm sora, and welcome! my pronouns are she / her and i am 25+. this blog will be an independent portrayal of daenerys targaryen from grrm's a song of ice and fire series and will feature some influences from hbo's game of thrones series, though i am both season 8 divergent and headcanon based. i am mutually exclusive and will not write with anyone under the age of 18. my activity will vary - i do write on two other blogs, as well as working full time.
drama. this will be as simple as i can say it, there is no room for drama or negativity on this blog. i don't engage in call out culture, the exception being genuine predators in the community, and excessive posts with vagueing will earn an unfollow. please don't steal my headcanons or content, if you like something i write as a headcanon and want to apply it for your own portrayal, just ask me.
duplicates. this blog is duplicate friendly. i have no issues with other portrayals of my muse, she's a gorgeous character and if you'd like to follow or even reblog some of the content i reblog from others, that's completely fine with me. i don't tend to enter competitions with other writers, i don't plan to start now. however, playing games isn't something i tend to enjoy, so if i make you uncomfortable, it is on you to block me.
mains & exclusives. i'm absolutely down. i will be honest and say i love writing partners that will be the ones i defer to when referring to that particular character. exclusives will happen more rarely, and far more selective, mostly when i can't see myself interacting with another form of that character.
interacting. i am mutually exclusive, which means if i do not follow you back, we will not be interacting. i am not going to be writing with minors for my own comfort level. if you follow me, i am always happy to continue threads from prompts or asks, and we do not need to be interacting for you to send anything my way or to like my posts for starter calls, etc. i do have crossover verses and am happy to work with anyone i write with to ensure we both enjoy ourselves.
triggers. this portrayal will feature triggers for miscarriage, sexual assault, and trauma, though i do endeavor to tag everything appropriately. there will be no romanticising of ptsd on this blog - triggering daenerys for purposes of cute/shippy headcanons will earn a blocking. my own triggers involve the usual, but i do ask anyone tag posts about actual world events, etc, and drama.
shipping. while i love a ship as much as the next person, i will need some degree of banter or plotting for ships to occur. daenerys is bisexual, and though she is sexually open, i am not comfortable with solely smut based plots. sex may happen, usually it will be tagged appropriately. i do ship jonerys though i defer to him not being a targaryen, but any posts will be tagged. if you believe we will have chemistry, don't hesitate to ask.

daenerys targaryen is described as very exotic and memorable to look at, with the classical valyrian features. she has pale skin, silvery gold hair that falls quite long and usually worn in dothraki braids, and violet eyes much like the valyrians before her. she is said to be slender, with slight curves to her, and has been described as the fairest woman in the world. she stands at a mere 5'2'', and is most notably seen in clothes with dothraki influences, or essos fineries. she has few scars, most of them from her dragons. mainly, these are across her inner thighs from the first flight on drogon's back, and her palms from drogon's scales, as well as her back where she was lashed by the dothraki after their capture of her in the dothraki sea. she is often described as beautiful by those who see her.

personality. growing up, she was regarded as fearful and furtive, though she has grown far more confident, often compared to her brother rhaegar for her valiance and honour. she is kind and values justice, as well as the poorer people within the seven kingdoms, often viewed as selfless and empathetic. her experiences have made her difficult to earn her trust over time, though she is loyal to those who have earned her trust.
headcanons.
uses fire as her main weapon, truly does not comprehend the destruction behind such a method of killing - after all, she herself is unburnt. A part of her believes this is a more ‘merciful’ death for her enemies because it is so fast with dragonsfire, as opposed to a sword.
begins to adopt some of drogon’s mannerisms as their bond deepens - this manifests as minute as facial expressions reflecting something more primal, and extends to heated tempers, and an ever growing awareness of his presence with her at all times.
